As of early January 2012, Wengfu Australia has taken over the lease of the Forbes fertiliser site owned by Mountain Industries. The shed is located at the corner of the Newell Highway and Abbatoir Road in Forbes, with entry to the site off Abbatoir Road. The facility will be operated by Mountain Industries staff and will be an important element of Wengfu's strategy to build market share in the NSW fertiliser market. The Forbes shed complements the Wengfu Newcastle shed in Newcastle (cnr Teal Street and Cormorant Road, Kooragang Island) which is also managed by Mountain Industries.
Additionally, Wengfu has appointed two new Regional Sales Managers to service the NSW market:
Justine Baird, based in the Lower Hunter, will cover the Northern Region, consisting of the key pasture areas of NSW (the Northern Tablelands, Central West and Southern Tablelands). Justine has previous experience in sales roles in the fertiliser markets and also has a strong pasture agronomy background. Justine's contact details are:

Steve Price, based in Sydney, will be responsible for the Central Region which covers the broadacre cropping markets of NSW which draw product from the Geelong and Newcastle footprints.
